The Desktop Brass Sundial Alarm is designed to be left outdoors, but is small enough to be displayed indoors on a table or large windowsill.
If left in the weather its brass pipe parts will weather to a muted brown color over time, and, after about ten years, will turn to a classic blue-green.
If it is left indoors the same changes will occur, but much slower. Indoors the brass will remain bright for several years, and can be cleaned and polished when needed.
The granite base is supported by a steel plate. The Desktop Brass Sundial Alarm comes with a firecracker holder for the alarm. <More>
